Kendall Jenner Wears Daring Double-Slit Dress to the Much Music Video Awards

Remember when side-boob was the MOST scandalous thing? In fact, let's take a very quick look at the evolution of baring unlikely body parts: In 2012, Angelina Jolie's bare leg launched a thousand memes (and its own Twitter account). A little more than a year later, Gwyneth Paltrow introduced side-butt, and now, just a little more than a year after that, celebs are getting kicked off of Instagram for revealing some nipple. Partial nudity: It's most definitely a thing. So maybe we shouldn't be so taken aback by Kendall Jenner's choice of dress at the MuchMusic Video Awards last night—but there are slits, and then there are double-slits, and then there are double-SLITS, and you can guess which camp this Fausto Puglisi frock falls into:

And you know what? Kudos to Kendall (and, well, the designer), because she manages to make it klassy classy (with the help of several rolls of double-stick tape, no doubt). Even Angie showed some cleavage with THE leg, and though the young model certainly mimicked the Maleficent actress's pose of choice, she kept things quite covered up on top, and even her hair and makeup was simple and pretty. Jenner showed off some nip for her spin on the Marc Jacobs runway, sure, but red carpets are much different than the catwalk, and she did it up right.

But while we're all for a lovely white peplum paired with a bold red lip (can you saychic?), we might have to declare the first 'fit the winner—at the very least, for raising the body-baring bar ever higher. Who'd like to take on the challenge? (And more importantly, where could they possibly put the next It Slit?)
